I am considering this, but am slightly worried about painting it to match the bike. Has anyone painted this Ducati red, and if so, where can I procure some of that paint?
the paint code is in your manual. take it to a good paint shop

Not sure if you have considered Color Rite? They have paint in various delivery forms to fit your need - touch up pen, bottle with brush, rattle can, etc.

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT USE COLOR RITE. I have ordered paint from them on several occasions and none of it was even close to matching. I always end up getting the paint from my local guy. Plus Color Rite if freakin' expensive. [bang]

I didn't know some of you felt so strongly (in a negative way) about Color Rite. I thought about purchasing mathcing paint in a rattle can for my car but I never got around to it. Now that I've read your comments, I would also look elsewhere in theh future.
Thanks everyone, I am going to shop around locally to see what the cost would be to paint the pan, does anyone have a ballpark figure?

I am going to buy a belly pan too. My fuel tank is in white and the frame is in black. So i still considering to paint it into white or not.~
