Title: Re: Best integrated tail light? Post by: He Man on June 21, 2011, 08:32:57 PM Motovation.
pros sequtial lights, flashing brake, AND integratd license plate light. cons: the mount for the tail light is actually a bolt that is formed into the casing. mine broke and any attempt to repair it has been a fail. If you ask anyone, my bike is notorious for having 2 looks, 1 is the skull on my tank, and the 2nd is the masking tape that holds my tailight to my seat. that might just be an isolated problem due to the insane amount of pot holes in this city. Title: Re: Best integrated tail light? Post by: uglyducky on June 21, 2011, 09:31:11 PM you mean motodynamics?
Title: Re: Best integrated tail light? Post by: kopfjäger on June 22, 2011, 12:51:49 AM I have the Motodynamics. No issue. Rubber mount it and you will have no problem.
Title: Re: Best integrated tail light? Post by: Punx Clever on June 22, 2011, 08:38:18 AM Either rubber mount the motodynamics, or modify it to accept a clear alternatives lens. I took the second option. Other than that, great product!

Title: Re: Best integrated tail light? Post by: emanon on July 29, 2011, 06:55:59 PM So I have been waiting for the motodynamics integrated tail light to be available for about 8 weeks now, every time the availability date gets close, they push it back; now the site just says no ETA available. Is the motodynamics worth waiting for, or is the Light Werkes available from Monsterparts a suitable substitute? My exhaust melted the insulation on the wires for my rear blinkers so none of my blinkers work right now. I would like to get this resolved!

I have been waiting for motodynamics led light for my monster for ages too. I have email them ,they told me they will release on September. I will wait till mid of Sep. , if they still can't release, i will buy another one. Title: Re: Best integrated tail light? Post by: Artful on July 30, 2011, 07:56:01 AM I have one. It's worth waiting for unless you are currently without a tail light period. I've had a LOT of motorists pull up next to me at a light and mention that my tail light is blinking. I winked at them and told them that's how I know it's working. Some got it, some think I'm an idiot.
They were both right. Title: Re: Best integrated tail light? Supposed to be video there. Light works like video on their website. My video is poor quality anyway. I have my lic. plate in the fender well with a chopped tail so the switchable plate light is nice feature. Tail is nice and clean now. |
