I know I sort of dropped off the radar once I sold the S4R and picked up a Wrx Sti which I am still having a blast in but.... I am itching to get back into riding again especially with the nice weather. If anyone knows any local good deals on a Monster or maybe even a 749 or 848 let me know. You can get one of the fuel-injected 900SS models (2001 and newer) for about the same money, and with fewer miles. I am not really a harley person but I do really like the look of those retro Nightsers and Irons. I know Ducstew had one and loved it. Title: Re: Its been a while =) Post by: Ash on July 14, 2011, 01:01:19 PM not a bad idea. just keep in mind the limited suspension travel in the rear on those things. significantly reduced cornering clearance means you will have to ride it differently than you are used to. not necessarily a bad thing, just something you should be willing to accept.
i myself picked up a victory kingpin recently. pretty nice ride, but i have a hankering for more cornering prowess so i'm now looking into a beemer too :) |
