Title: Last pics of my SS
Post by: the_Journeyman on July 04, 2011, 06:26:04 PM
It's going up for sale locally on Craigslist.  I'm sure I'll miss it, and these seem a bit rare at least locally, so I'll probably wish I hadn't sold it in 15-20 years.

I washed, detailed & waxed  so she'd look good to potential buyers.

Yea, it was a tough decision.  Ever since reconfiguring my Monster, the SS is more work than fun.  I know that 10 years from now I'll wish I had held on to it.

Take it from an old fart, you will regret this a lot sooner than you think. Some bikes I didn't mind letting go of but some still trouble me to this day. It's kind of like a relationship. Some folks you dated for a while and that was fine, time to move on. And some, 25+ years later, you wish you had married them and lived happily ever after. And will forever regret that you didn't.

Good luck with the sale. Maybe down the road of life you'll get another one! [thumbsup] [Dolph]
