I love em... But they're out there.
The best part is people litterally jumping in their seats as you give em a blip when they're merging over on you. They get back FAST. They also make heads SNAP around and cars stop dead on city streets of drivers pulling out... Mostly that's what I wanted... I have some black hyper-reflective tape that I could use right on the forks rather than the reflectors... It works well too and hits from all angles... Good thinking. Not only are the Supertones larger and deeper, you want to use the stock mounts for them (the three bars) and make sure that mount has room to vibrate to get the max tone and volume from the horns... If you traffic constricts you bad enough that you have to check up on cages, I feel bad for ya. Traffic around here is "loose" enough I just make my own hole. No horn is going to save someone from coming over on me. I either cover the brake well enough or I'm on the gas and squirt on by. I get the "in the face" thing though... I got cut off this morning and gave a guy a horn blast and he lurched back over out the way then tucked in behind me... followed me on to my street and in the parking section where I work (large distribution facility with a bunch of large guys as a nice back up).
