Title: Bar risers for 2010 m696 Post by: Zulu on July 06, 2011, 11:44:15 AM I just talked to one my local dealer about installing rizoma bar risers, and they said they cannot do it on stock bars, So now If I want bar risers I have to get Rizoma bars too . Apparently Rizoma bars do not come drilled so its about two hours in labour. With the bar riser and new bar installed they quoted me around $400 .

I assume these are designed for stock bars. You'll need the 796/1100 tapered handlebar too. The 696 has a standard, single diameter bar. The install is pretty simple it took me about an 1.5 hrs The Rizoma stuff is pricey but it's quality stuff. I got the bar risers and handle bar for around 220 , and Im gonna have duc pond do it. I don;t have any tools , besides they were sayin it might need some drilling and stuffs. |
