Title: M696 vs M1100 levers
Post by: ManOrAstro-Man? on July 06, 2011, 06:31:23 PM
I'm looking at some aftermarket levers, but I see different part numbers from vendors for levers that are used on the M696 and levers that are used on the M1100. Is there really a difference in the levers (or how they are installed) on these 2 models?

Can't speak to the 1100 but on the 696 it's a single nut that has to be removed, then just slide out the lever and reverse. 10 minute job max.

Yeah, I have a 696 and removed it myself as well. Really simple. I would think that the levers or how they're mounted would be the same on both bikes so that Ducati can save on mfg costs, but just curious why the part numbers for the levers of each bike are different.

the 696 has standard style masters
the 1100 has radial masters
