i have decided that because i'm bored, i am tired of my job, and i just want to screw with people i'm going to start randomly changing the inflection of my sentences. some will end up, unless it's a question. some will end down. some will have the inflection at the beginning of the sentence, others will be in the middle as if i'm trying to stress a particular word. that word will most likely be an article and i will try hard to avoid doing that on adjectives.
it will keep my brain occupied for a while until i realize i'm too lazy to keep it up.
other suggestions are "talk like james hetfield day" or "talk like bob dylan sings day"
feel free to come up with your own and post the results.
how about.... walk around the office like Angus Young day?

This is also known as "The David Caruso School of Acting". Be sure to take off or put on your sunglasses at the appropriate dramatic moment.
Refer to yourself in the third person day?

KnightofNi agrees with your idea. He thinks it is spledid and will do this as well as adding 'The' in front of his name at important times.
The KnightofNi is going to go do some work now.
Talk like the GPS lady is fun. "I'm head ed too lunch. Baa kin a bit. Recalculating."

Korean's emphasize the middle syllable.. so something like Scorpio becomes scorPIo. :D
ooo, speaking in the cadence of another language is good too.
or just changing your cadence, like when someone gives you a phone number and they pause in the wrong spot ands it throws you completely off.
i rerred to myself in the 3rd person this morn and confused my boss. he thought something was seriously wrong with me. this afternoon i will refer to The Travis
I always liked the "Talk like The Safety Dance" routine... Observe:
co-worker - Do you want to go to lunch?
you, singing - Go to lunch if you want to, you can leave your work behind, etc etc...
friend - Should I dump my girlfriend?
you, singing - Dump your girl if you want to, you can leave that girl behind, etc etc...
friend - I'm gonna punch you in the face if you keep singing Safety Dance in response to every statement!!
you, singing once again - Punch my face if you want to, you can, well, you get the idea... ;D

what about avoiding words that are required in everyday conversation and replacing them with something from the Thesaurus? You know- kinda like drink, drank, drunk- you have to say consume, ingested, etc..

intoximacated!!
Original it is not, but talk like Yoda, you could...
Two quick ideas...
1 - Canacter. It's not a word, but used in a sentence incongruously leads to a mild pause in the conversation that's Oh, so funny. Example..."Sorry I'm late, I couldn't find my keys or the canacter this morning."
2 - Nachos. This is juvenile. At the end of a co-workers long and arduous sentence, just ask "Nachos?" Will give everyone a 6 second delay to regroup their thoughts.
