The Maine legislature recently spent quite a bit of time arguing about making Whoopie Pies the Official State Snack. This sparked a bit of an uproar in PA, which claims to be the home of the original. Investigations have found bakeries in Maine with documented recipes going back at least 50 years, while PA bakeries have claims going back generations.
This is important stuff.

ahem....
I'm hungry
I got rid of some leftovers last night by combining them.
I made a taco dog.
Hot dog topped with beef that was previously used (seasoned) for tacos, strip of muenster cheese (all I had on hand) and sour cream.
It was freakin awesome. I have enough beef left to make another one tonight.

It was on such a late, drunken evening that I created the grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwich. And, yes, it's as awesome as it sounds.
