Title: Re: Mich Pilot Road fronts -- $55? Post by: arai_speed on July 12, 2011, 09:47:15 AM I bought a front a few months ago after an accident ruined the tire.
I got them from CompAcc for $100 or so shipped. http://www.compacc.com/p/Michelin-Pilot-Road-Tires-Z-Rated-Front (http://www.compacc.com/p/Michelin-Pilot-Road-Tires-Z-Rated-Front) So at $55 that's a great price. Post by: bikepilot on July 12, 2011, 01:50:20 PM Very cheap - I'm not a huge fan of the regular road, particularly the front as it has a sorta hard feel to it. It works ok when hot/dry, gets a bit skitish in cold/wet weather imo. I ride year round and mostly have been in DC or Boston - a lot of folks won't care if its a bit skitish in the winter in these areas:) I would want to know the date of manufacture.
