Cool posting; this made me laugh from the article:
QuoteWarner told the Bangor Daily News that getting to 311 mph wasn't nearly as hard as slowing down; he didn't mention that his front fender broke near the fastest point of his run. "It was a little scary."
May the world never see whatever exists that can scare Bill Warner a lot.
Paging Speeddog to the white courtesy phone . . . .
The post title -- [laugh]
at the end the video said "replay". Ummm. No.
311 mph is crazy!
What, no onboard camera?
That's pretty very extremely impressive. No cooling system at all... wonder how hot the motor gets in the short time it's running?
And yes, the video was kind of pointless since you could see absolutely nothing of interest after the first 20 seconds.

No shit. ;D
"Uncle Speeddog... tell us a story!"
~50% faster than I went. :o
Pretty decent bodywork, I would have had a tail like that if it were legal when I was running SCTA.
Surprised he can get away with those tires.

Just as derbys must be called Derbys, all mentions of top speeds must include a nod your Capirex ;D

Holy peel your eyelids off Batman! That thing goes from zero to 300 in about 30 seconds.
The part where he slows down looks ever-so-slightly ridiculously terrifying.
Dang 620s sure have gotten a lot faster

Randall a.k.a. Bellisimoto (when he was far younger and less wise) once claimed an exaggerated top speed for his 620 Capirex.
And because we're assholes, we will never let him forget it ;D

. . . while nailing Paris Hilton on the back after she posed naked on his bike in Vegas that he bought for $4 and sold for $20k when he was in high school and working at Cyclegear.
Or something like that. ;D

Ah the good old days of picking on Randal ;D
300+ mph on a bike?
make the beast with two backs that. 100 is enough for me, the wind buffeting is a pregnant dog. At 300 i imagine the wind would just lift you off the bike.
At last, I've learned what ever happened to Randall. Glad to here he is still with us. I figured he had gone off to join squid riders in the sky.
