Title: What would be a reasonable price for a leftover 2009 M1100 (no S)?
Post by: RC Fan on July 25, 2011, 06:31:53 AM
My local dealership has two new leftover 2009 M1100.  What would be a good price?  Thanks in advance for your help!

You might be able to pick it up for even lower than that.  Couldn't hurt to offer them $8500 and see what they say.

I can't believe that there are still '09s sitting in dealerships.  My thought is that Ducati didn't lower their manufacturing numbers fast enough in the economic downturn.  They just didn't adjust their production numbers in time to avoid over production?  But by '10, they had learned their lesson - as I don't hear much about leftover '10s sitting in dealerships.

That's how I got my '09 1100S last fall...paid $10,900 for it then if memory serves.  And I got a $750 gift card to the dealership.

Ideally I would like to have an Evo, but I am extremely cheap [evil]
