Any interest in a museum ride this Saturday AM? Thinking about leaving Manhattan at 9am to go here: http://20thcenturycycles.com/ (http://20thcenturycycles.com/)
More info about the moto museum here: http://www.billyjoel.com/news/20th-century-cycles-opens-its-doors-oyster-bay (http://www.billyjoel.com/news/20th-century-cycles-opens-its-doors-oyster-bay)
Then perhaps having BBQ lunch here: http://www.theshopbrooklyn.com/ (http://www.theshopbrooklyn.com/)
Planning on being back in the city by about 1pm.
I was at the museum a few weeks ago, a Ducati New Roc event. Billy Joel did a great job. I might meet you folk at The Shop.

Bikini bike wash sounds interesting in concept, but no body washes my bike, but me.
I think I'll ride over from Huntington and meet some of you folks Saturday. I figure between 10:30 & 11 should be a good ETA.
Awesome! We are now looking at 1 9:30am departure so ETA will also be 10:30-11am at the museum. This is me:

Meeting point for Manhattan:
There is a BP gas station on Houston St between Broadway and Lafayette on the south side. Fill up before 9:30am. Kick-stand up at 9:30am.
Otherwise, we'll aim to be at the museum around 10:30am and the BBQ spot around 12:30pm area.
I won't be checking DMF much the next couple days to just show up at the spots that makes the most sense for you if you want to ride!
when did you get the exbox? I am about to buy the FBF arrow full system for my S2R1k on the parts for sale column, but the LOUDNESS factor is umm intimdating. I dont want to get hassled by cops.
Take some pics. I would go but unfortunately ill be at the track all weekend. ;D

I've had the ExBox since '08. It was on the bike when we rode together in Lackawaxen.
Arrows are quite loud. I rode for about a hour and half on just udder and it gave me a headache...guess I'm in the "you're too old" category...LOL

Will do, but don't be "ill" at the track...that's no fun unless its vertigo!
Great having lunch and good conversation with you guys. The Shop did finally open.
Howie, great to se you! It has been too long! See you in a couple of weeks at the Desmo BBQ!

Nicrosato,
Thanks for showing us the cool roads in Oyster Bay! Hope to see you aging at the Desmo BBQ if you don't have to work that weekend.
Beancounter and Chan, great riding today! We'll have to do a shotgun outing next time!
Cdawg, Beancounter and Chan: Very nice to meet you. Glad to share some of the prettier roads on the Gold Coast (though it's a fact of suburban NY life that they are not the type of roads you can really cut loose on).
Here are a few phots I took with my cell at 20th Century Motorcycles:
