Post by: Düb Lüv on August 01, 2011, 05:05:27 PM i called chris today and gave me some exciting news about this subject. he's only had a couple people report back, but said a bone stock 1000ds with keihins was about 96hp and another customer that had every engine mod under the sun done putting down about 130hp [laugh]. the guy said it was an animal.

One day, MBP style heads and possibly short manifolds. The DS heads have the valve area and the better ports to start with, a better starting point to reach 100 hp, pity those motors aint cheap down here. I say go for it.
