Forged Marchesini on my 2007. Speeddog posted wheel weights recently and these were included.

none of those wheels were stock s4rs wheels. i was there when he weighed them. in fact, 3 of those sets were mine. the forged 10 spoke "y" marchesinis were indeed aftermarket wheels.

Forged 10 spoke "y" marchesinis are my stock.
we're talking about 2 different wheels. trust me. here's a pic of what we weighed and what he's referring to . . .

this is an aftermarket forged marchesini. not stock on any bike. i am familiar with the s4rs wheels but, they are a different style . . . here are stock s4rs wheels

i do not believe they are forged as the marking on the wheels are raised which is generally not consistent with the forging process - forging would yield a stamped or impressed marking. . . i'm bummed too i just bought an rs and now i gotta go wheel shopping
They are all cast - S4R/S4RS
You need a set from a hypermotard, or upgrade your rear axle to a 1098 sized and use 1098s/1198s tricolore wheels.
I've been down this road before ;)
Just get the BST's and be done with it [thumbsup]

damnit. i figured that was the answer. i don't know if i've ever seen a set of those come up used. i'm not dropping $3500 on wheels. on twizzlers, fine. but not on wheels
