will this work to take off the left side case of the motor?

also are there anything I should be aware of before I go about doing this? after I take off the bolts, does anything else need to be disconnected?
Is it just the outer case? Unbolt it. You'll have to do something with the alternator/generator or whatever it's called. Not difficult though, I just unbolted the wiring keeper and took it out.

The Ebay link is dead, but any cheap steering wheel puller will work. You could even do it without a puller if you are careful. Some bolts are longer than others. Keep track of which go where.
I will try once the steering wheel puller comes in. Thanks
is there a diy for this somewhere on the forum? I searched on google and on the search bar but couldn't come across it. I just need to know how to use the steering puller because I'm not sure where the bolts are supposed to go and if anything other than the bolts need to be off before I use the steering puller.

Otherwise almost any steering puller will work but you will have to find the right bolt.
where is the clutch slave?

i use the method without any problems. no steering puller required. maybe just a plastic or rubber mallet for some light love taps.
