Title: Re: Rat Bike Post by: clubhousemotorsports on June 19, 2008, 05:14:49 PM Laugh if you will but those wheels are way lighter than BST's and think of the power to weight ratio. I think we may be looking at a spy shot of ducati's replacement for the monster. [beer]
Title: Re: Rat Bike Post by: triangleforge on June 19, 2008, 05:41:14 PM Just curious, will those brakes get the bike to stop? Dude, those brakes couldn't stop the bike BEFORE the transplant! [laugh] I do like the fully-adjustable forks, though -- five, ten minutes with a pair of channellocks and you could bend 'em most any way you like. Title: Re: Rat Bike Post by: Evil_Ductator on June 19, 2008, 10:54:35 PM I bet it's got decent tank range too, and looks like maybe painted-over Ohlins suspension? heheh
Shame to see a great CBX motor going to waste though! Title: Re: Rat Bike Post by: 55Spy on June 20, 2008, 12:56:38 AM the burnouts resulting from the power to weight would be pretty cheap to rehoop
