So I know the install for the fast throttle cam is supposed to be really simple, but I am having issues... My problem is that I dont know how to remove the throttle body cam on my s2r 800 Dark (05'). Looking for a set screw but cant find one. HELP! Stopintime's s2r for comparison... I would send the pic to electraeon and confirm that you have the correct part for your application. I've found them to be very responsive.

I suggest you sell off the electraeon piece and look for a quick throttle tube (handlebar side of the throttle).

I suggest you sell off the electraeon piece and look for a quick throttle tube (handlebar side of the throttle). The housing on the bars doesn't have room for a larger cam. (that's what G2 manufacturer said) Maybe there's a way to remove the plastic and modify the shaft to hold the Electraeon cam...... ok... ill try and return the electraeon piece. No big deal. I guess i'll just live with the stock setup - it isnt that bad but I was looking forward to changing the feel of the bike a bit. Maybe its time to get around to that 14T sprocket... |
