Title: what is the warranty on a ducati replacement part?
Post by: slash on June 18, 2008, 12:36:50 PM
My tps is shot.  It was replaced once already, just less than two year ago.  My factory warranty expired 5/12/2008 so I was wondering if there is any chance Ducati will cover the replacement tps because that is definitely less than 2years old.  It cost "only" costs $250, so I guess it could be worse...

My DP parts was covered for 2 years from date of new purchase/install.
Dates may not be hard cutoff too.  I'd go and talk the the dealer real nice like and see if they will file a warranty claim for you.

2 TPS replacements so quickly is serious ,,I would ask Ducati for goodwill at least...something not correct here?

Go to a good dealer and there shouldn't be a problem...

Ducati will do "good will" warranties out to one year after the warranty has ended, as long as you are the original owner and didn't rob parts from the girlfriends bike ;D

I will be shocked if they can't get that covered for you.
