Black big 4 bike barrels southbound (wrong way) on 10th ave, makes a right onto 56th street (again, wrong way) onto west side high way, squad car chasing. 2minutes later, it started to rain. All he had on was his helmet and messenger bag. Did not see any plates. No gear at all. Blue striped button up shirt and black pants. lol anyone you guys might know that would do something that stupid? You cant out run a cop in  the city. radios always faster, unless you got hideout spots.

Now THAT would be fun to watch! [laugh]

left side of the bike, squad car 10 feet from him, his right hand on the throttle,, hes cocked back with his eyes staring the squad car's driver in the eyes, his left hand is wild, and he pretty much about to either go for it and run, or stop.

Sounds like he was running with a stolen bike.  Too bad no pics.

On another note, I think you can run from the cops even if they have radios and you don't have a specific hiding place set up.  Bikes are easier to hide than cars and all you have to do is know the neighborhood your in, or maybe run to Jersey.  Or can they follow you into Jersey?  I dunno.

I wasn't gonna say it but...

you can outrun po po in the city pretty easily.

A squad car on every other block, and motorola radios. Its risky, im sure its possible if your in an area like LES, but 10th ave 56th st? Precinct 5 blocks away, lincoln center 10 blocks away, 2 colleges and Columbus circle nearby. Yea, you got balls my friend. [leo]
