Title: Changing Exhaust Post by: ostiano10 on August 21, 2011, 07:20:50 PM Going to purchase a GPR exhaust and am currently still deciding on which one I would like... Just wondering if there are any additions that I will have to purchase as my bike currently has a Quat-D Ex Box. I feel like I may have to get the extension that goes up under the seat, but am not sure. I currently ride an 06 Monster 620. Any help would be much appreciated, also looking to see if anyone would like to purchase the current exhaust I have!

Title: Re: Changing Exhaust Post by: Roaduser on August 22, 2011, 12:00:25 AM where do u live? i might be interested in the ex box..
as for the exhaust, do u have the original exhaust or did u aquire the bike with the ex box already fitted? the ex box comes with ther header pipes. so if you dont have the original you will need to either purchase some nice new header pipes to go with the gpr mufflers or purchase a full exhaust system. im not familar with GPR so i cant say what they offer Title: Re: Changing Exhaust Post by: Roaduser on August 22, 2011, 12:19:13 AM few exhaust opitons at motowheels. including some header options, but they are all listed as 900 headers. may have to do a little research on fitment to your bike.

Title: Re: Changing Exhaust Post by: Slide Panda on August 22, 2011, 05:20:12 AM The Ex-Box is a full sytem. You'll need to get a set of the stock headers to use the more 'normal' style of slip-ons
Title: Re: Changing Exhaust Post by: Slide Panda on August 22, 2011, 09:17:57 AM There's a gasket and set of split ring things that are needed for each head to header on the stock exhaust - not sure if the ex-box needs the split rings. I know my full system doesn't due to larger tube diameter. So make sure you've got all the bits you need to seal the headers to the heads
