Title: FlashMob vs. TrashMob

FlashMob

TrashMob (or whatever term you prefer?)

Just venting my dislike for the choice of words by the media. Both are flash mobs, yes. But I've always associated the term with people getting together for something nice, not criminal activities.

I'd like it to stop. HAMMER TIME!

and my friends ask me why i want to leave the area...

that kind of thing has been happening more and more lately. i guess it's just misguided youth?
why can't they form a "flashmob" to clean up one of the parks in the area?

Not sure if it was a slip of the tongue or intentional - but I heard the term 'FlashRob' applied to some group robberies of 7-11s in this area recently

Let a violent flashmob happen around me and my wife. You can count the bodies, but I bet it will only take two or three before there is no mob to speak of.

Power in numbers....these people are just using it to their advantage! It will continue until someone ON SCENE takes a stand against them. Police cant respond fast enough.

I should add.... I think that many people with shared violent/illegal motives would likely instill genuine fear for my own well being. I would need to be IN the situation before I could determine that and that would then dictate my actions.

Philly won't give carry licenses but they have to recognize any PA CCW, which also means any out of state CCW that PA recognizes.
