Title: My new (to me) Bandit Post by: DucHead on August 27, 2011, 08:48:44 AM Shitty cell phone pics, but I thought I'd share as I just got it bolted up Wednesday night. I'll post better pics when someone with an actual camera snaps a few for me. It's blue with champagne and silver stripes on the tank and tail.

Alpinas next year? I've not had it dynoed, but similar bikes make 120-130 hp at the wheel. It is fun as hell to ride, rumbles at low rpm an howls like a banshee up top. ;D Title: Re: My new (to me) Bandit Post by: orangelion03 on August 27, 2011, 10:12:49 AM As a fellow Bandit 1200 owner, I wholeheartedly approve!!! Title: Re: My new (to me) Bandit Post by: orangelion03 on August 27, 2011, 03:38:33 PM Thanks! Did you ever get your fueling problem sorted? More or less. After a few long phone calls to Dale Walker, I have dialed it in as best as I can. After it warms up properly, it runs good enough that I dont think about it anymore. It's plenty fast and handles pretty good. I'm happy. I almost got a 1200 naked bandit but decided on the 620 as I was a beginner. Very nice bikes! [thumbsup]
Title: Re: My new (to me) Bandit Post by: xcaptainxbloodx on August 27, 2011, 07:42:11 PM any plans for that massive tail?
Title: Re: My new (to me) Bandit Post by: orangelion03 on August 28, 2011, 06:28:36 AM Do you have any of the take-off parts left? Seat, can, etc.?
Meant to comment earlier...I like the body color side panels and did you "frost" the chrome accent on the covers? I like the aluminum look as opposed to shiny chrome. Title: Re: My new (to me) Bandit Post by: Monsterlover on August 28, 2011, 08:17:42 AM [thumbsup]
Cool build :) Title: Re: My new (to me) Bandit Post by: DucHead on August 28, 2011, 12:23:14 PM Do you have any of the take-off parts left? Seat, can, etc.? I sold a ton of stuff on maximum-suzuki. I have the seat/tail section, grab rail and front wheel left. All are for sale on MS. I took steel wool to the "chrome" plastic filter covers and they look surprisingly like aluminum. Title: Re: My new (to me) Bandit Post by: orangelion03 on August 28, 2011, 06:22:33 PM rdubandit, right? Saw the tail section, but no seat. If the seat itself is still available, PM me.
