Title: Re: rearsets Post by: Düb Lüv on August 27, 2011, 07:59:06 PM I'm assuming you have a m900ie. When I had oem rearsets, I cut the passenger mount off and rounded off the exhaust mount. Looked nice.

Title: Re: rearsets Post by: Nottsbiker on July 24, 2012, 04:26:09 AM I'd use a hacksaw (dunno yank name) as less likely to get clogged with aluminium or jump into your leg.
Used a grinder under my old Hi-Lux (Tacoma) with a wire wheel fitted to get rid of some rust, the mother f____r caught the material of my combat trousers and wrapped itself in nice and tight. Took a while to look down for damage - luckily everything was still 'intact' :o Title: Re: rearsets Post by: zooom on July 24, 2012, 05:36:02 AM angle grinder works very well...
Title: Re: rearsets Post by: freeclimbmtb on July 24, 2012, 09:39:00 AM +1 for a hacksaw. Its not THAT much material and its aluminum. A new hacksaw blade will cut that like butter. Then use a file and some sandpaper to make it look all purdy. [thumbsup]
