He says the white 2007 monster is more rare than the 2008 tricolore S4rs, he says the production number was lower. I don't think that's true, but don't have any facts to base that on other than there were 400 tricolore's made for the US market and I believe a total of 750 worldwide (including the US numbers).

Title: Re: Which is more rare? Post by: $Lindz$ on August 31, 2011, 10:44:54 AM The most rare S4Rs is (from what I gather) the black/pewter one. It's a Tricolore frame with black tank. But the stripe is matching to the color of the frame (not the normal silver). I've seen 1 and so has uglyducky.

The tricolore has a number plate (on the top triple I believe). So for all intents and purposes, the white s4rs is lumped in with all the other non numbered s4rs's and much less rare than the tricolore. Arguing that a standard color scheme increases it's rarity is pretty pointless. You guys could get more done by flopping your junk out on the table to see who's is biggest. |
