Yes on both accounts but being a Benz fan I expected more especially AMG series.   A few more body mods would have been nice

that bike still reeks of douche to me.  feels/looks like a mid life crisis harley that lost its way.

never mentioned performance.  i would never own that bike purely based on aesthetics

It has the horizontally ribbed seat upholstery and "AMG" emblazened on the exhaust. What more performance do you want?    ;D

Yeah, it's a bit "different" but much better in person and unbelievable on the road. I also love the riding position, power, tech features, abs, traction control, etc, etc. Funny enough it gets more interest and thumbs up then any of my monsters did.

well, this is a pretty specific forum dedicated to a single model of moto so the fact that the new abomination that is the Diavel isn't getting its "due" respect here seems to be calling for a forum based solely on the Diavel for those that love it to come together and figure out why.

kid told me the other day my bike looked like a lesbian's scooter  [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] maybe you could lighten up a bit and just accept the fact that not everyone is gonna like the same stuff you do captain. the point of this thread was to express opinions on the bike in question.  i would think it is pretty implicit that a motorcycle that departs greatly from the general aesthetic of a manufacturer may come under some unfavorable scrutiny on a forum dedicated to a single model.  but, defend away . . . i'm havin fun  :-*

I'll start again.......that AINT NO AMG.  I expected much more.  If I had a million to blow I'd do it but not on the so-called AMG version.  I'll stick to my dream CLS 55 AMG and the G AMG for the wifey.  :P

When they tout that the cam timing is REALLY what they say it is, is notable.

None of the Itailian tuning houses wanted to jump on this, I'm guessing.  AMG is about perfomance and function, not bolt on bling and paint.  They can take a good machine and make a much better, or at least frightenly more powerful.  Weird.  Not my cup of tea / whiskey.
