Last year I questioned the reasons for the series, but after being exposed to it, the XR1200 class is being used like a feeder program to develop talent at a relatively low cost. Very grass roots feel, that is refreshing in the Road Racing paddock. Meanwhile, history was made in AMA Pro Flat Track as the first female won a GNC event!
