Title: Woodcraft Clip-ons question Post by: The ModFather on September 13, 2011, 12:29:58 PM Going through the boxes of goodies I got from the guy who sold me my Monster I found a set of Woodcraft Clip-ons!! I mounted them and realized I'm gonna need to buy the 3" risers as these are just too low for me. These are the regular silver color but I'm thinking of buying black replacement bars. But from what it looks like there's hardly any bar showing. Is this true? When you mount your woodcraft clip-ons do you even see the bars for more than a couple inches?
Also should I buy the regular length bars or longer ones they sell? My grips are Rizoma Sportline and my Monster is a 2005 620 with the OEM square (coffin?) reservoirs and Brembo levers. Coffins on clip ons usually require spacers to create clearance between risers and coffins. I guess that's why they show (recommend?) long bars... MonsterParts used to have the spacers - call Jeff to see what the situation is. Spacers will allow you to use normal length bars. I have to buy the whole Riser/Bar kit for $180. That sucks but its still cheaper then the Speedymoto Clip-ons.

Why not just bung the ones you've got above the triple? A little disconcerting at first, but once you get used to it, the change will improve your around town riding.
