Title: Need pointed in right direction for opening most basic of webstores...
Post by: junior varsity on September 15, 2011, 02:50:33 PM
So far I've got someone more talented than I to help with attractive looking product images and banners, etc - so what I want to know is:
How to get the basics of a functional webstore...?

I'm hoping to minimize costs since this will be lower-volume sales, and the few searches I've done turn up monthly charges, etc. Not ideal.

anybody in the biz or have done this and know how to get going on such a task?

If you have a basic website with info, can't you link to an ebay store?

for ebay's listing fees per item, might as well pay someone like volusion/etc the $20/mo to list lotsa items (the individual items are a bit expensive, so ebay's % is less appealing than if I was selling relatively lower priced goods)
