So as some of you know I'm planning a short move. Staying local, but getting a longer view house (and help me, a garage) with the lady.
So my current place will officially go on the market shortly, but I wanted to start to spread the word.
It's 2544 C Arlington Mill Drive. 1/2 mile by foot from Shirlington Village, even less to the biggest dog park in Arlington County. It's part of Windgate II, the Avon model to be exact with the addition of a finished basement.

The house is like my bike... it's easier to play 'what hasn't been changed/tarted up', than list the changes... but here's some
- Finished basement w/ 3/4 bath. Perfect for visitors. Large room with that bath make great guest suite.
- All baths redone.
- Kitchen redone.
- Newer wood floors on ground level. Replaced in late 2009.
- Decked attic
- There's still work/storage space in the basement. Too many places finish out 99% of the space.. then where's one put the tools?
- Lots of custom details. I made the mantle, added crown moldings, overhead lights blah blah.
It's not a McMansion by a long shot, but it is comfy, very livable and in a very dog friendly community.
So if you know someone who wants to live it cool-ville shirlington, put 'em in touch.
I'll take it.
I will pay you in magic beans. I already set up the escrow.
It's a house, not a cow.
Hmmm... you're right...
I'll trade you your house for a cow.

Well, this thread's gone downhill fast. :(
Checked out the area with Google maps street view: very nice! [thumbsup] If it had a garage, that would be exactly what the wife and I are looking for. Except not in Virginia! [cheeky] [laugh]
