Title: Re: S2R 800 + Ducshop Hyper stacks + PC3 + Emission canister removal Post by: Ohm3d on September 27, 2011, 08:03:45 PM Took about 2 hours to do everything.
airbox and emission canister were super easy to remove, I think I spent most of the time putting smaller zipties on and relocating stuff. I didnt cut any of the hoses to the airbox or canister, I just rerouted them, in case I decided to put the stock airbox back in (which I won't) PC3 takes about 10minutes to install, I dont like their location of it and will be relocating it to under the fuel tank once I get a chance to get the bike on the dyno. again most of the time is spent on routing the wires. I loaded the 504 pc3 map and it runs a little rich, but not bad. Have to set the cold start a little higher when first starting, but once its warms up (like 2-3 min) it idles perfectly Riding impression... little less low end, mid range is nice, top end is definitely a lot different, placebo effect maybe, lol, but it "feels" better by a little.. The power comes on differently now so it will take a little getting used to, but still very predictable. The sound is unreal. It is loud.... I took a video, but the audio sucked when I loaded it on the comp, so I'm not gonna bother posting it up. I definitely have to wear ear plugs all the time now. I will post some more pics when I get a chance Title: Re: S2R 800 + Ducshop Hyper stacks + PC3 + Emission canister removed Post by: Heath on September 28, 2011, 04:52:30 AM Any plans to have it put on a dyno? Or have a custom map done?
Title: Re: S2R 800 + Ducshop Hyper stacks + PC3 + Emission canister removed Post by: Ohm3d on September 28, 2011, 02:35:19 PM i am waiting for my exhaust to come and then it is going for a dyno tune with custom map. If my exhaust actually gets here before it snows will be the deciding factor on when it gets dyno'd

the instructions were for a Hypermotard, but it was still pretty easy to figure out what went where. Removing the emissions canister was not necessary, but I did it anyway. |
