do you get rocks in the combustion chamber of an engine?
i really want to know. apparently what killed the xr this last time is i had rocks in there. i have no idea how or when they would have gotten in there. i'm fairly certain i didn't put them there.
anyone want to buy an 02 xr650l with 13K on it? [bang]

Theres only 1 way in, and thats through the intake.
This begs the question, how do you get your rocks off?
Through the exhaust of course.

actually, it was a silty creek.
i'm going to see if i can determine where the rocks came from if they actually save them for me.

the only other way i can think that they got in there is through the spark plug hole, but i didn't take the plug out after i got it back.
this is actually a common occurrence when you have this guy wrench on your bike

photobucket is blocked at work. i can't see if you are making fun of me or not. [laugh]
+1 to intake. hole in the air filter or a gap in the intake before the cylinder.
sucks man (no pun intended)
that's just it. there are no holes in the filter or in the connector between the airbox and the carb.
now it's gonna cost me at least $500 to fix since they claim it wasn't because of their mechanic. [bang]
