At the time though, there were NO monsters to be found for sale for months and i was getting desperate..... [roll] Title: Re: Is this too much money for this bike? Post by: Bendy on June 20, 2008, 07:04:37 AM It's probably just right. He could definitely do prospective buyers a favor to mention that it is a 750, not just a 'Monster', however. Heh. I imagine some folks that can't tell the difference could be annoyed at the fact that they don't know how many cubes it has.
Title: Re: Is this too much money for this bike? Post by: duc_fan on June 21, 2008, 02:04:59 PM Kewl bike, reasonable price (assuming some things)... crappy ad. Needs to be more informative, like, oh, listing the engine displacement. [roll]
On a side note, I love that paint scheme... I saw a 1999 M900S while I was out in Iowa with the same pattern, but it was white stripe over red. Same classic logos. Almost bought that bike, but I'd have had to get a ride to Kansas City, MO, and ride back to Cedar Rapids on a bike I wasn't familiar with. I also didn't even know whether a Monster would fit. |
