Title: Fitting Motogadget to S2R
Post by: rac3r on October 05, 2011, 11:40:10 AM
Just saw a video of the Motogadget Pro and REALLY want one but my question is can it be fitted to an S2R? I know the clocks are linked to the ECU and immobilizer so how would I get passed this?

This is written for a different gauge but the general premise is the same: http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=44219.0 (http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=44219.0)

You are truly awesome! Thank You [thumbsup]

Might actually go for the same one you bought. Do you still need to do the TPS thing if you have a PCIII?

Not sure honestly, I'm not familiar with that hardware.

some folks out there can re-flash your ECU to disable the immobilizer. you'd be able to ditch your stock gauges entirely if you did that.
i'm planning to.. don't want gauges! ;D

I forgot to ask regarding the pictures on page 5, so the connector plugs into the existing one on the bike and the wires that were soldered connect to the new gauges?

I'm crap at soldering so was wondering if I could get all the wires soldered up to the connector by someone and then I can sort them out and label them and plug them in the right places on the new gauges
