Title: '02 M750 died at stop sign...then it started to rain cats and dogs.
Post by: talljoker on October 07, 2011, 01:22:03 PM
Alright this is my first post and I hope I was on a happy one...

Anyways I wanted to start with my bike is/was in good working condition before this happened. It has gas and a good battery on it. This morning I was sitting at a stop sign and when I went to start off it died. I had warmed the bike up and it was running fine before that. I tried to start the bike and it would catch and would not idle and die again. I got the bike off the road and it started to downpour.

I left it in a parking lot and went and got a friend to look at it. She checked it over and tried to start it over and would not start again...

Are there any things to look for? Fuel is in the tank. Plugs looking fine. It will turn over and catch but not maintain idle. Thanks

Do you hear the fuel pump prime?  Have you checked the fuses?  Kinked fuel lines?

I'll have to check that. I had work and had to stay at work over night (Duty military). My buddy picked it up and took it to his shop.

I'll check the fuses and the fuel lines...I am wondering though if it rode fine the night before, and I pulled it into the garage and turned it off, and then turned it on and let it warm...ohh nvm gremlins...

If your fuel pump is priming then I would check all the ground cabels.

Are you getting a good spark?
