Decided to do some exploring coming back from Ducstock at Barber. Wandered onto a road that has 190 turns in 12 miles, Mr. Paso liked. Anyone know where I was? - Gene
Tail of the Dragon or whereabouts? I remember reading about some nice roads out there that are just as fun but less known/traveled.
No, not that close to the Dragon, ~140 miles away. The Dragon is no longer fun, ruined IMHO. This past June went by the Dragon on Monday after the races at Barber like we always do. It was totally jammed, could not even get in the parking lot at the bottom and I got blue lighted twice in the turns, the LEOs were just sitting there waiting. But there is a lot of other stuff in the area to ride and there is even a devil of a road over in SE Ohio, less than a day's ride away, that is every bit as challenging and it's 80 miles long. - Gene
