i'm guessing late 2012... at my dealer they said that they were only getting in enough f3's to satisfy preorders so i doubt there will be that many lying around.

that being said, if the pricing is on par with the daytona 675, that's pretty impressive for a piece of rolling art.

not something that tickles my fancy parts.   they are neat and all, but the brand just doesn't "do it" for me.   I suppose I'd rather have an Aprilia for "other italian bike" or a Triumph or KTM for "other euro bike".   Its kinda like BMW, might excite me, but I'm not really that interested.

Riding an MV (Cagiva) is like nailing your hot wife's hot sister...

I've never cared for the Brutale.

But I'd be all over that F3. Hot, sticky, motorcycle love. So wrong, yet so right.

. . . .

*cough*

F3 will have (apparently) nifty electronics (http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/bikes/mv-agusta-f3-675-mvics/) and will cost $13,495 (http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/news/mv-agusta-f3-675-price-msrp/).

Good price, but I'd rather have the Daytona 675R.

Nope on the 675, yep F3.
Wife's hot sister will need to ride on something, since it won't be me.

i agree, it just pales in comparison to how nice the f3 is.  it just becomes really meh without the fairings.  just doesnt have that awesome sculpted look anymore.

You guys are hopeless.  [bang]  Taste is subjective, but I thought these bikes were above reproach.  This new Brutale 675 is the best looking bike on the market today.  The F3 is beautiful, but that doesn't make the Brutale any less so.  They basically refined what was already gorgeous in the F4 and Brutale.

I guess I'm in with the hopeless crowd.  [roll]

not liking the new brutale much. mostly it's that chunky cat(?) and exhaust, combined with my general dislike of liquid cooled nakeds

that sums it up in your own words.

if you want me to break down, here is what i think about it.  it just doesnt flow for me.  what makes me not like it is mostly that huge radiator in front which looks at odds for to what is a really gorgeous delicate tail end and tank, and it also has the effect of making the headlight look a bit small.  imagine how it would look with a slimmer radiator and you'll see what i would prefer... it would look a lot better imo, a lot more wasp like and lightweight.  the silver radiator guards dont help all that much in making it look smaller either.

i also wouldnt mind it if the trellis frame was set off in the accent color, but that's just nitpicking.

As I've said before (in this thread, no less) the Brutale has never done it for me.

The new 675 version doesn't change this.

It just looks a bit awkward.

Looks similar to a Suzuki GSR 750 to me

It's a butterface. The tail looks nice, but her face... Like thought said, it just doesn't flow.

I have no idea what you are talking about.  The Brutale is a 10, a total knockout . Have you seen the movie Shallow Hal. I feel like I'm Hal, the Brutale 675 is Gwenyth Paultrow's charachter, and you guys are Jason Alexander's charachter.

Damn, I think this bike looks absolutely incredible!  Very slender and sleek, in my eye!  a little tidy on the back end, some darkening of the raw aluminum areas, smaller mirrors, and this thing would be a crowd-stealer wherever it went.  And none of those are very expensive.  I actually think the exhaust, for being factory, looks pretty damn decent, they did a good job making sure the exhaust cat fit in with the bike's general silhouette.  Overall, I love the look of this thing, and I believe that MV has achieved greater looks, and more than likely better performance than any monster that ducati currently offers.  Now the 848 streetfighter, that would make a more interesting comparo...

I'd still buy an f3 over this, if I were able.
