That is seemingly, a very good point.

However  would the DeLorean look good with this design?

It  might give it that 18th dynasty Egyptian fun in the sun look...Or it could just look stupid.

Or they could go with this look from a 50's  pickup truck. They would want to have DMC stamped in it instead of the Bowtie of course.

The bolt on cell phone holder and the stitching around the Nav looks terrible.
