Title: Oil cooler mount
Post by: 04monsterduc on October 19, 2011, 02:04:13 PM
Anybody have any ideas as to where I can find a new mount for my oil cooler? The rubber pieces broke away from the mount to the motor and I need help/ideas as to how to replace. Right now the cooler is just zip tied to the frame by the lines.

Generally helps to post up what bike you've got...

But, for any Monster, getting those parts from a dealer is your best bet.

Noticed this last night on ebay.  Pretty rare to see.

Just get the rubber pieces from the dealer.  Can't remember the price but they are cheap.

you dont want tio buy that whole piece!! the rubber mounts are bonded to a plate which threads into the valve cover oil bracket. grap the metal backing plate and screw it out. the replacement mounts are fairly priced from ducati and it will be much easier and look better to keep your original valve cover and replace the mounts with nice new ones.
