Post by: mahoneygod on October 19, 2011, 06:45:36 PM
So I did the base gasket on an 02 S4, also replaced the pistons with fbf hcs. Got everything back together and now it won't start. I replaced the plugs new battery oil change. Timing is good. Checked my plug gap my grounds. She turns over but won't start. This Is my main transport need help tired of riding the bicycle.

What color is the smoke? Possibly burning oil?

Don't panic just yet.  You may be just burning off assembly lube if the smoke is blue or you might just be looking at water vapor if the smoke is white.  Run the bike for a while.
