Title: Picture of fuel filter needed.. please. Post by: Mike Qube on October 24, 2011, 12:26:15 PM Can someone who has an older Monster (I have a 97 M750), take a picture under their tank of the fuel filter and hoses? I'm having an issue with a hose coming out of the filter pinching and cutting off the fuel. I want to make sure that everything is going the way it should.

What is your issue? Title: Re: Picture of fuel filter needed.. please. Post by: brad black on October 28, 2011, 10:20:59 PM i have the hose out of the filter going out the back, so when the tank is down it's almost horizontal. between the tank and the tank's fuel outlet sort of thing. give it enough length to go back, bend down and around (near the suspension rocker) and back up to the vacuum tap. you can get spring type things to go around the outside of the hose to stop them kinking - http://www.gates-unicoil.com/ (http://www.gates-unicoil.com/) - is one. or just a spring big enough to go over the tube.

The other hose is kinking. Title: Re: Picture of fuel filter needed.. please. Post by: Mike Qube on November 02, 2011, 11:33:39 AM I looked at parts diagram and it looks like my hose is way too short. Does anyone know what size hose is used? The parts diagram just had a part number and nothing else.
