Title: Brake Caliper Adapters
Post by: SwampMonster on October 26, 2011, 08:38:19 PM
I have a 1995 m900 is this the adapter I would need to go to the newer 65mm spaced calipers. I was told they were hard to find that is why I am skeptical. Thanks in advance.

Have you checked YoYoDyne for confirmed parts fitment?

All the bikes that used the f08 calipers would use the smaller rotors.

I'd go with the yoyodyne pieces.

They look similar to these from Bevel Heaven:  http://shop.bevelheaven.com/detail.aspx?ID=1466 (http://shop.bevelheaven.com/detail.aspx?ID=1466)
But note that they are for 280mm diameter rotors

They are both made by GuzziTech.

I know them, that is Ed Milich and they are well done.  I have a pair of his adapters for my Pantah.

Those adapters are NOT for the later 40mm type (5156 caliper) bikes.  Those are for bikes with the F08 two-piston calipers (which were used with 260, 280 and 300mm rotors)

The ones YoYodyne has are correct, but they are Brembo and can be bought from any brembo dealer.
