Post by: musicboy86 on November 04, 2011, 07:38:03 PM
Been reading all through this forum for the past 3 years but never post anything.
Pretty sweet... thought I would share.

I wonder where I can get "snap on" body panels like this?

I think Ducati has gone so far upmarket on the new SBK there is room for the SS to slide in there.
A 100hp+ 2v with the old SBK frame :D

$15k for the bike above....

About $1k for the bodywork.

I'm pretty sure those are welded on mounts for the bodywork. so not a simple thing to add on.

Very cute..., but I haven't bent that way for 20 years. Where's my ST variant? 8)

Other than clip-ons under the triple, what else did they do to get the more foward riding position. That's what I loved most about the SS, specially on the track, when compared to my Monster. I think I would definitely buy an SS with the current 2v motors.

looks like just clipons and rearsets.

the only other thing you can do "bolt-on-wise" is a new subframe/seat...

they may have lowered the front/raised the rear, though.
