What could this be?

I noticed that some bolts around the oil filter had blue markings on them as if they were removed for some reason. Could this be a white thread paste for the bolts?
its piston on cylinder love juice. Do you use protection for your oil?
Condensation. Water mixed in with your oil.
Go for a nice long ride. Get the motor up to good running temperature. When you return, it'll be gone.

First milky sight glass post of the season!
Annoying, but not serious. Opening the filler cap to help the hot vapor escape will help too.
Time for one of the oldest tutorials on the site:

yeah sorry guys, don't mean to be a noob. I just needed to know if I should be mad at my local motorcycle service station or not. I use white "TFE Paste" to stop oil and vacuum leaks a lot as a vacuum pump technician and when the paste gets introduced to the oil it sometimes shows up in the sight glass and looks EXACTLY like this.
You're just living up to your handle, is all.

always so clever
Since I fitted the K&N breather on the oil seperator box and removed the hose to the air box, the condensation has disappeared. That's gotta be better for the oil and motor. It was cheap too. :D
As Howie indicated, this topic comes up every year, around this time. It's like the seasons, you know it's really fall when the leaves turn and the sight glass questions come.
You're the first this season, but probably won't be the last.
