Title: 2006 Ducati Monster 620 tail wire harness
Post by: ostiano10 on November 08, 2011, 09:18:15 AM
Hello Everyone,

I just got done bringing my tail back to stock due to the former rider doing a tail chop to the bike. I currently am waiting on the stock signals and tail light to complete the work. I figured in the meantime I would try to see if the plate light was functional. After trying to two bulbs it didn't work, I was just wondering if the whole system has to be set up for it to function or can you check it a piece at a time.

Thanks!

Yellow wire powers the tail-lamp (5W filament of your tail/stop lamp bulb) and the black is the ground.  If you've got power there w/the key on, you should have light on your plate.

For reference:  Grey/Red powers the stop-lamp (21W filament of your tail/stop lamp bulb).
