well i can't really go and join coz if i get arrested, I will lose the flimsy corporate job i am holding on to. Why? Because every year they do back ground check since it is a financial institute. I am in I.T. field until they out-source this one too (that will make it the 3rd job to be outsourced from then ).

some of the soundbites are really relevant, some insipid and dreary, but I have never been much of a joiner
that said, there is a national malaise (yes I remember James Earl Carter) and discontent that is very real
as we evolve to a global feudalism socio-economic model
individual self-interest and collective common cause are interesting things to watch in social systems as they evolve and devolve...
but all things change....Roman Empires, Aztecs. Mayans, Incas, Thousand Year Reich's, Soviet Empires all failed
we struggle to evolve...the real question is
is the struggle to evolve a better social system
or is it about an underlying struggle to evolve a better human?

I initially read this as "there is a national mayonaise" and I thought, in comparo to some of the soundbites of these people really not having a decent plan or direction, it made as much sense as anything else.....
