An über-cool motorcycle movie to be shown on an ACTUAL big screen? In an actual theater? In ALBUQUERQUE?!?!?!? Yes, yes and oh-my-word YES!! Through creative collaboration, extensive manipulation and a fair amount of luck.... Desert Desmo is VERY PROUD to announce that we will be showing the Fastest movie @ The Guild theater on January 14th, 2012 @ 4pm. Tickets are $5 ea. and are available in advance @ PJ's Triumph / Ducati or at the door the day of the show. PJ's Triumph / Ducati is proud to host the after-showing party following @ the upstairs bar @ Scalo (very nearly across Central) from 6pm until ?!? Invite anyone you know who loves motorcycles! Although we should be doing the after party at my bar the Monte Vista just down the street. I've been working there for 8 years and been the Manager and head bartender for the last 5 years... If there needs to be some incentives just let me know. Just for the record at least half of my staff rides motorcycles, 4 of which ride Triumphs (eh hem PJ)... Just let me know I can make it worth it...

I plan to bring a set of handlebars, my gloves and helmet. I'll clamp my bars to JJ's chair in front of me and "ride" with the screen! [Dolph] JJ got me all hyped up this weekend when he slid up behind me for 25 feet on his renovated Jawa at the Central and Tramway stoplight. I could hear his squealing tires for what seemed like 10 minutes as he slithered toward me. I figured that he was just showing me his GP style, but I later learned that he has 40 year old, rock-hard tires on that thing... So,... Lucky it even stopped...them drum brakes are no match to what u pulled on the yellow with brembos...then the tires, yes...will have new ones installed on Saturday..Steve ordered me a set of tubes and tires...Avon Roadriders...a set of tires for 165! We opened the box office at 3:40 for the 4:00 showing an sold out of tickets in about ten minutes. In fact, somehow we oversold and had a few folks sitting in folding chairs and on the floor!
