You should have come riding more often.
:D
I will be there, but have not met anyone from the forum yet.
I am going...a meetup would be good...maybe dinner at that Japanese restaurant after wards down the street. They have great dumplings
Ducati will be in DC this year so I'd expect a 1199 there. Can't figure they wouldn't show their new top SBK.
I plan to go one of the weekend days. A little tbd as to which at present

wanna roll up together? i can kick in for gas/tolls.
Sorry. I am going up with my wife a couple of days prior and will be staying the weekend.
no worries!
I'll be there, pretty sure on Saturday.
Hmmm if I climbed on the 1199 my 1098 might try to kill me more than normal. Although as with all hot things, she's never really liked me anyway :P
Probably will be there Saturday, stay that night at the Mariott (Renaissance). Last year Nora and I headed over to Capital City Brewing, but only got as far as the Cuba Libre which turned out to be quite an experience and might be worth repeating. There are lots of choices near the convention center. - Gene

I really like how the whole downtown area has been steadily improving over years. [thumbsup]

Well, i am definitely interested if folks want to get together one evening. Would like to meet everyone, and will be the all weekend.
I'll be headed over sat. Anyone else firm up their plans?
I'll be there Saturday as well. Brother and/or wife might tag along too, the hard part is getting them out of bed (not with each other... [laugh] )
Will be there Saturday, staying at Reniassance across the street, so might also be there Sunday AM. Usually do Happy hour at the hotel bar ~4PM, then either Captial City Brewery or Cuba Libre for dinner. - Gene

There are also plenty of other discounts codes that are easy to find. Not as much discount as Goldstart, but Goldstar charges a good bit more for a service fee. Also you have to pick up the goldstar tickets at will call, which can be a hassle. I paid a dollar more per ticket, using an online discount code on the IMS site, to skip the will call hassle and print my tix.
Since alot of us will be there on Sat anyone want to set a meet time, then venture down the street to ping pong afterwards??? Their crispy prawn balls are amazing!!
If we can get a head count we can make a reservation??? They open at 5pm Who else is in?

I am assuming that the location is in Chinatown... Though I have never met anyone yet, I would like to join in the fun. My wife and I will be at the show Sat.
I'm headed over Saturday at 1:30pm-ish. I'll probably leave the buell at the office (18th & K) and walk over of take the metro one stop. We could all make sure to be at the Ducati boot at say 2:15pm to say hi and coordinate, thoughts? I'm probably up for something after, but not positive yet (packing to move so might need to scoot home to get to work).
^^^ I'm good with that.....I will be wearing some clothes.
Sounds good. Saturday at 2:15 @ Duc booth.
Its a plan [thumbsup]
Ill be there early - like opening. So I might miss you all.
Anyone going Sunday?

Me, too. Hope to see you there.
I'll be there and plan to be at the Duc booth if I don't see folks before.
I'll probably be getting there some time around two or so... Shoot me an sms when you get there Jim.
I'll be there around noon with my brother, we'll be at the Duc booth at 2.
I heard you can't climb on the 1199, out [thumbsdown]
It was a pleasure meeting some of the CAM this afternoon at the show, putting names to faces... and finding out exactly how crazy everyone really is. [thumbsup]
Good to see everyone today! Sorry to miss a few of you. I went to Staples and bought a stamp so we can get in free next year. I only had enough allowance for a SAT stamp, so plan accordingly. ;D

Good meeting you (and the lady) too!
In case Steve didn't snap a pic of it, this was pretty neat:

Awesome pic - mine was just a cellie, and not that nice. For those who missed this, it's a Scott "Flying Squirrell" (gotta love the English for their bike naming). It's a 600cc watercooled 2-Stroke., which is pretty amazing considering this is a 1930 model. They were the sh** back in the day, even winning the Isle of Man. Sadly, like most top-end performing bikes they were out of the price range for most.
looks great [thumbsup]

I'll probably go to hell for saying this, but the red cylinder made me think of one of those kitchenaid blenders! [laugh] [laugh]
