one of my major concerns was to NOT have the first video being one where I fall down so I went very easy and careful

I have an issue with not being truthful, if I screw up, you'll see it.

Got out today for a short run. As promised, I don't edit out screwups. Nothing major but knowing I'm being watched does mess me up a bit and I did almost run into the grass on a tighter than remembered corner on the pavement before I got to the dirt.

Planning to get a GoPro this spring but was curious how they mounted to a helmet?
Do they come with sticky mounting bracket or should I look for a mount when I am getting the camera?

Kevin would probably attest to this as well, but I think the more you ue the camera day to day, the more used to it watching you you'll become.

way cool!  I got a GoPro 960 as my early Christmas present.  Also got the suction cup mount.  Pretty cool for mounting the camera on the side and top of tank, as well as on the rear cowl.  Highly recommended.

on the Duc, I have the shift pattern reversed so barely ever use the clutch on upshifts

it comes with a bunch of sticky brackets and a big giant suction cup thing
I used the suction cup thing today in the car, more on that later, and put one of the sticky things on the helmet

Don't forget about clutchless downshifts!

let me not think about upsetting the chassis too much with this thing, it's very torquey as in listen carefully to how much the tire was spinning on that dirt road and I was going really, really easy on the throttle. Also, in watching it, I thinking the front was coming up more often than I realized too.

Its only difficult if you do it right. I've done it wrong several times ???

It's really not hard to get it right. If you're timid you're guaranteed to have a rough time of it. Commit to it and you'll be riding like a king :)

Can anyone explain to me what is the advantage of super-motto or motard bikes on twisty roads ?   ( i realize it's a lame question, but i do not understand )  But I have ridden with fella's that were killing it in the twisty on motards.

I've hard time editing anything out.  It's all important.   ;D

But seriously, I have a hard time editing even the boring part of some rides I record.

Supermotos rock because they're really light and change direction in a heart beat.

Think of a mountain bike but with 45 horsepower.  They're very nimble.
