Title: Giuliano Maoggi ('56 125cc Motogiro winner w/Cigarette) Photoshopped? Post by: Fergus on December 26, 2011, 10:50:26 PM If this is a Derby, let me know ASAP.
I was trying to find the pic of the "intense dude with the cigarette in his mouth", and found this. http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=16794.msg295571#msg295571 (http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=16794.msg295571#msg295571) supakpow2 posted this photo: (http://i320.photobucket.com/albums/nn327/supakpow/untitled.jpg). I google'd it and found this: (http://www.ducatiusa.com/pub/image.do?rule=white-border2&src=/cms-web/fs/c1a/1b3/895/aa8/0f6/c3c/abe/685/097/1c5/58/Heritage_Per_D1950_Giuliano-Maoggi_04_634x357_634x357.jpg&output=PNG&quality=m&cache=true&httpCache=true&interpolation=bicubic2&width=634&color=D8D8D8&height=356&ext=image.png) at ducatiusa.com. It looks like he may have a smoke in the latter image, but... BTW, the guy behind him is missing his right arm. That really drives it home that that race was only 11 years after the war. Sorry about dredging up an old topic, but this was very interesting to me. -Ferg Title: Re: Giuliano Maoggi ('56 125cc Motogiro winner w/Cigarette) Photoshopped? Motodoffo ring a bell? Apparently the owner also has a still-crated autographed Paul Smart. Title: Re: Giuliano Maoggi ('56 125cc Motogiro winner w/Cigarette) Photoshopped? It seems the actual owner of the vineyard was off in elsewhere, so no tours of the garage... with the rumored 'sedici and many vintage bikes. I had to satisfy myself with the vintage 60 on display under the counter. Title: Re: Giuliano Maoggi ('56 125cc Motogiro winner w/Cigarette) Photoshopped?
